Donations Sought for Family Fun Night! March 26 from 5-8pm
If you would like to donate items for the middle school's annual silent auction or as a door prize on March 26, 2010, please contact Katie Markovich-Bush. You can email her at kmarkovich@marcelluscs.org or call at 646-3158. You can also drop off donated items in the middle school office and she will get them. The silent auction will be part of the middle school's 4th Annual Family Fun Night fundraiser. Last year many community members donated items that helped make the silent auction a ton of fun and a huge success! We appreciate all the suppor our parents and the community provides. Donations will be taken until March 25.

Events Include: 3 on 3 baskteball, face painting, silent auction, cake walk, pie throw, dinner, door prizes and more! Come join us!

Ski-In
The Marcellus Middle School English Department has recently completed a school-wide project to collect recipes for a cookbook. The cookbook will be available to order March 8 through March 12, 2010. Each student will bring an order form home via their English teacher, Friday March 5, 2010 and collect orders and money throughout the next week. The cookbook is a collection of almost 300 recipes from students and staff and will cost $10 each. Order with your child or in the middle school office. Email questions to Katie Markovich-Bush at kmarkovich@marcelluscs.org or call 646-3158.

Middle School Memory Book
The middle school memory gook will be on sale from March 15 until April 1. The book printed in color sells for $8. Payment must accompany the order. Students will receive the memory book in May. Order forms are available in the office.

Track Sign-Ups and Conditioning
Track sign-ups will be in the office the week of March 22, 2010. You must have your physical and money paid by Friday March 26, 2010. Conditioning will begin Tuesday March 30, 2010 from 3:30 to 4:30pm. A track team meeting will be held Monday, March 29, 2010 at 3:30pm.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Middle School students wishing to participate in athletics must have a physical on file in the middle school office.

Students should wear coats, hats and gloves daily as they often have to stand outside and wait for the bell and choose to go outside at lunch. Also, if your student has lost a clothing item, please look on the lost and found table by the library. If you have a student in need, please contact the office.

Please call the school prior to 9:00am to verify your student's absence. 646-3158

Students should not arrive at school before 7:35am in the morning. This is especially important in the cold and dark weather as supervision isn't available until that time.

F.Y.I.
