Volunteers!
The middle school could use parent assistance in the library, classrooms, dances and at athletic contests. If you have a couple of hours to donate and would like to make a difference in our school, please contact the office.

Lunch Accounts
Students may bring money to put on their lunch account or bring money each day to pay for their lunches. Charging is not encouraged. If a child forgets their money, a sandwich and milk will be provided as needed.

Edline
Our web-based parent-school service operates 24/7. Parents who have internet access can view their student's grades, assignments and upcoming events by logging on with a private activation code. The codes are in the office. This service is linked to our web page and teacher's email. |
Breakfast of Champions
The middle school coaches will honor our student athletes at the Breakfast of Champions on Friday, May 14. Coffee and juice will be served at 7:45 am with the ceremony beginning immediately following. For parents who work, the event will be concluded by 9:00am. |
Moonlit Garden
The student council will sponsor the farewell dance on May 21 from 6 to 8:30pm for 7th and 8th graders. This is a dress-up dance (not a formal!!). Students are asked not to wear jeans and tennis shoes. The cost is $5 and includes snacks. Pictures will be taken for a small fee. Studetns must be in school the entire day in order to attend the dance that evening. |
Donations Sought for Family Fun Night! March 26 from 5-8pm
If Our academic recognition program will be held on May 28th for our 5th and 6th graders at 8:00am. The 7th and 8th graders will receive their certificates on June 1st at 8am. Parents are welcome to attend both ceremonies.

4th Grade Visitation
4th grade visitation will be held on May 12. There will also be a transition/information meeting for parents on May 12 from 6:00-7:30pm in the middle school library.

Summer School
The middle school will not be offering summer school this year. However, for those students who fail two classes and need to recover credit in order to move to the next grade level, beginning on June 15 and running through July 22, the middle school will offer our Odysseyware Credit Recovery Program. Students will be required to attend school twice a week for three hours each day with the reminder of work being done either at home or at another location with internet access. The cost is $150 for the first class and $50 for the second class. Seats are liminted. Please contact the middle school for more information.
Science Fair
The 5-8th grades will be hosting a science fair on May 12 from 6:00-7:30pm. Please visit us to see what cool things our students are doing in science.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Middle School students wishing to participate in athletics must have a physical on file in the middle school office.
Students should wear coats, hats and gloves daily as they often have to stand outside and wait for the bell and choose to go outside at lunch. Also, if your student has lost a clothing item, please look on the lost and found table by the library. If you have a student in need, please contact the office. Please call the school prior to 9:00am to verify your student's absence. 646-3158 Students should not arrive at school before 7:35am in the morning. This is especially important in the cold and dark weather as supervision isn't available until that time. F.Y.I.
