Students may bring money to put on their lunch account or bring money each day to pay for their lunches. Charging is not encouraged. If a child forgets their money, a sandwich and milk will be provided as needed.

OPENING DAY!
The first day for middle school students will be Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 7:50 am. All middle school students will report to the gymnasium for our opening ceremonies. Students will then attend homeroom where they will receive their schedules, lockers, planners and supplies before following an abbreviated schedule ending at 2:57pm.
MIDDLE SCHOOL SCHEDULES
Doors open for 5th, 7th and 8th graders at 7:40 am. Students will have time to eat breakfast prior to the start of classes at 7:50 am. 5th graders will have an exploratory class first hour while 7th and 8th graders will leave at 2:00pm for their exploratory class at the high school.
6th GRADERS
6th graders will begin their day attending an exploratory class at either the high school or the elementary school. They may eat breakfast there. Directly following their first hour class, students will be bused to the middle school until dismissal at 2:57 pm.

APPROPRIATE SCHOOL DRESS:
Parents might wish to read the student hadnbook for appropriate school dress. Tank tops, midriffs, short shorts, saggy pants, heelies and hats are not appropriate attire for the classroom Please save these items for the weekends.
All 7/8 graders must dress for PE class with a tee shirt, shorts or sweats and tennis shoes. 5/6 graders must wear tennis shoes.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Use of cell phones is prohibited in the middle school from 7:40 am to 2:57 pm. Students needing to use the phone for after school must keep them off and in their lockers.
Picture day is September 8. These are pre-paid pictures and re-takes are available.
Emergency and information cards should be turned into the middle school office as soon as possible.
All students participating in sports must have a physical on file in the middle school office dated after April 16, 2008. They must pay their registration fee.
