The following is a list of Marcellus High School Fall Sports, the starting date for that sport, and the head coach's name.
• Football- Starts August 8 – Coach Todd Rice
• Soccer- Starts August 10 – Coach Tim Brown
• Volleyball – Starts August 10 – Coach Faith Harris
• Cross Country – Starts August 23 – Coach Dave DeCou
By Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Rule, each student-athlete MUST have a signed physical examination on file with the school before he or she can participate in athletics. The physical must be signed by an M.D., D.O., Physician's Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner and must be dated on or after April 15, 2011.
Marcellus High School WILL NOT be offering physical exams this year, and so each student-athlete must visit their family physician for the required physical exam. Bangor High School IS sponsoring a sports physical night at the Bangor High School Gymnasium on Tuesday August 2, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The cost of the physical at Bangor is $10.00 per student, and all students from Marcellus and other SAC schools have been invited to take advantage of this opportunity if they wish.
Copies of the MHSAA physical card are available at the Marcellus High School office.
