MARCELLUS SKI CLUB   2007/2008

 

When you join the Ski Club you will be issued a punch card.  This punch card is transferable and

can be shared with family and friends.  There are 7 “punches” on this card representing 7 evening ski visits good from 3:30 pm to 9:00 p.m.  Five of these punches are white in color and MUST be used on the weeknight your Ski Club has chosen to ski.  There are also two special “colored punches” on the card which may be used on any evening of the week, including weekends.    Occasionally it may be necessary for a Ski Club to attend on a night other than their original choice.  This can be arranged between the Ski Club Sponsor and Swiss Valley management depending of space availability.

 

      THE COST

*The club package consists of 7 lift tickets, 7 ski equipment rentals and 3 group ski lessons the first 3 weeks your club skis as a group.  The total cost is $131.00.

*If ski rental is not needed, the cost is only $117.00 for a club pass. 

*Membership only is $7.00.

*If you purchase a Season Pass through the Club, the cost is $236.00; this is for an Unlimited Season Pass.  Season Pass members are eligible for 3 group ski lessons.  Lessons are available only when the Ski Club skis together as a group.

*Snowboard rental is available on a first come, first serve basis.  The cost is $10.00 PLUS one rental punch from your card. Full days are $15.00 and two rental punches.  Add an extra $5.00 if you do not have rental punches on your club card.  Snowboard boots are included with Snowboard rental.

Riding The Ski Bus 

     Once again we will be able t o shuttle the ski club students out to Swiss Valley Ski Area.  The bus fee will be $10.00 this year.  The bus will be for students only. Parents will have to meet us at Swiss Valley.

     The bus will be departing from the Elementary School by 3:30 p.m.  You will be able to store equipment in the Elementary School all day on Friday if you need to.  There will be a place to change into your ski clothes also.

     Two announcements will be made at Swiss Valley; the first at 8:45 p.m. for equipment return and second at 9:00 p.m. to load the bus.  The bus will leaving Swiss Valley at 9:15 p.m. and will return to the Elementary Building by 9:30 p.m.  If your child misses the bus, you will be responsible to pick him/her up at Swiss Valley as we will be returning with the bus. Please do not be late picking your child up, that could result in a loss of bus privilege.
